It sounds like Trump is living in fear of what may be coming down the pike for the revelations of his character. I don't think he's scared of losing his power. Many of his followers probably still wouldn't jump ship even if they knew exactly what he had done and would find some excuse to let it fall by the wayside. They'll say something like, "oh that was a long time ago and he's President now and we love the economy." No use talking to those people. It's like when he said he could shoot the Pope on 5th Avenue and not lose any supporters. In that case, he kind of told the truth.
